Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray, who is UGA's all-time leading passer, named the biggest problem for Georgia ahead of its SEC opener against the Tennessee Volunteers. Murray thinks Georgia's offense could struggle in the difficult road environment at Tennessee.

"I still think if if we had to rank an order of issues for Georgia, it's been the offensive line," said Murray on the "Mac & Murray CFB Show."

"Sorry to to hate on the big boys up front, but the offensive line's got to get it done," Murray continued. "They have to protect. There were a few times last week that (offensive coordinator Mike) Bobo called the play to take a shot down the field and there was leakage up front where he (Gunner Stockton) didn't have time to get through his reads and had to get out of there.

"Gunner's got to be better. O-line's got to be better. I think the receivers are doing their part on the outside when they have the opportunity."

So far, Georgia (along with Tennessee) is one of 12 college football teams to have not allowed a sack. The Bulldogs have not been perfect along the offensive line. Georgia did not give Gunner Stockton enough time on some snaps against Austin Peay, and he was forced to move on from deeper targets down the field. Georgia failed to register an explosive pass play against Austin Peay despite Stockton having 34 pass attempts, which drew the concern of college football expert Joel Klatt.

Murray envisions the Georgia-Tennessee game being a low-scoring affair. The Bulldogs' defense has had a lot of success against Tennessee in the past. Coach Kirby Smart has won eight straight games against Tennessee and the Dawgs have held the Volunteers under 22 points in all eight of those wins including four times during the Josh Heupel era.

"It is going to be difficult for Georgia to move the ball," Murray said. With a new starting quarterback and a banged up offensive line, it is easy to see why Murray thinks Georgia will struggle a bit offensively on the road. Murray describes the game as a toss up that could go either way.
