Pape Mada Ndour: Madiambal Diagne's Passport Invalid, Arrest Imminent Upon Return to Senegal
Diplomat Pape Mada Ndour has commented on the case of Madiambal Diagne, former chief of staff to President Diomaye Faye, who is subject to an international arrest warrant. According to Ndour, Diagne's return to Senegal without facing justice is now virtually impossible.
Details of the Arrest Warrant
Pape Mada Ndour stated, "Madiambal Diagne can no longer return home as a dignified Senegalese citizen. He left like a coward and will return in even worse conditions, as there is an international arrest warrant. Interpol has been notified." He emphasized that if Diagne attempts to enter the country at any airport, "the police will arrest him."
Ndour further clarified, "From now on, he should be considered a fugitive. He will be treated as a detainee upon arrest and will be handcuffed." This underscores the severity of the situation facing Madiambal Diagne.
Possible Location of Madiambal Diagne
Pape Mada also suggested that Madiambal Diagne might no longer be in France, the country he initially indicated as his place of residence. "Once in France, it is easy to move to another country. He could be sought in Taiwan or Thailand," Ndour added, broadening the scope of the search.
Passport and Identification Revoked
Ndour reiterated that Madiambal Diagne can no longer return to Senegal freely: "He does not have a safe passage; he has an international arrest warrant. His passport is no longer valid, and all his identifiers have been flagged." This statement highlights the comprehensive measures taken to prevent Diagne's undetected entry into the country.
