Villanova Wildcats Announce 2025-26 Men's Basketball Schedule
The Villanova Wildcats men's basketball team has finalized their schedule for the 2025-26 season, including the release of their Big East Conference matchups. This marks the first season under new coach Kevin Willard. Their Big East play will tip-off on December 23 against Seton Hall.
Big East Conference Schedule Highlights
Following an 11-game nonconference schedule, Villanova will begin conference play on the road against the Seton Hall Pirates at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. The conference schedule announcement came on Thursday. Time and television information for games will be released at a later date.

Key Home Games at Xfinity Mobile Arena and Finneran Pavilion
The Wildcats will play two home games at the Xfinity Mobile Arena: against St. John’s on January 17 and Connecticut (UConn) on February 21. The UConn matchup will be the team's final appearance at the newly named arena this season, following their participation in the Big 5 Classic on December 5. Their first home Big East game at Finneran Pavilion is on New Year's Eve against DePaul.
January and February Matchups
January will feature home games against Creighton (Jan. 7), Georgetown (Jan. 21), and Providence (Jan. 30). Road games in January include matchups against Butler (Jan. 3), Marquette (Jan. 10), Providence (Jan. 13), and UConn (Jan. 24). February opens at home against Seton Hall (Feb. 4), the first of four home games that month, including Marquette (Feb. 10), UConn (Feb. 21), and Butler (Feb. 25). The month will also include away games versus Georgetown (Feb. 7), Creighton (Feb. 14), Xavier (Feb. 17), and St. John’s (Feb. 28).
Season Conclusion and Big East Tournament
The regular season concludes with a road trip to DePaul on March 4 and a home game against Xavier on March 7. The Big East Tournament is scheduled from March 11 to 14 at Madison Square Garden.
Non Conference Opener
The 2025-26 Villanova Men’s Basketball season will tip off in Las Vegas against BYU. This confirms the start of the Kevin Willard era.
