The GBI reports that agents are searching for Timothy Craig Ramsey, who is accused of shooting Captain Brantley Worley in the face around 11:10 p.m. Friday. The shooting took place on First Street in McCaysville. Ramsey was last seen wearing a green shirt with green pants or shorts and carrying a motorcycle helmet.
Ongoing Search and Officer's Condition
Police searched Ramsey's home on Saturday but did not locate him. McCaysville Police Chief Michael Otis stated that Captain Worley remains in critical condition.
