Nvidia and Fujitsu Join Forces to Revolutionize AI Infrastructure
In a landmark partnership, Nvidia and Fujitsu are collaborating to develop a comprehensive AI infrastructure, aiming to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across diverse industries. The joint effort seeks to establish Japan as a global leader in AI and robotics by 2030.
Building a Full-Stack AI Infrastructure
The collaboration will focus on building industry-specific AI agents that continuously learn and adapt, forming the foundation for the next phase of the AI industrial revolution. This involves integrating Fujitsu’s Monaka CPUs with Nvidia’s GPUs via NVLink Fusion, creating specialized systems optimized for AI workloads.
Fujitsu framed the collaboration against the backdrop of rising demand for generative AI, where high costs and technical hurdles have kept adoption largely confined to major corporations. The partnership is designed to address those barriers by creating scalable infrastructure that balances performance, security, and enterprise autonomy.

“Fujitsu’s strategic collaboration with NVIDIA will accelerate AI-driven business transformation in enterprise and government sectors," said Fujitsu CEO Takahito Tokita. Huang emphasized the importance of AI in driving a new industrial revolution and expressed confidence that Japan could become a global leader in AI and robotics. Tokita echoed this sentiment, highlighting the partnership’s goal to create human-centered AI solutions that address Japan’s societal challenges, including labor shortages.
Key Initiatives and Future Prospects
The partnership will initially focus on the Japanese market but with potential global applications. The AI infrastructure will underpin innovations in sectors such as healthcare, manufacturing, environmental solutions, next-generation computing, and customer service.
