Scott Wolf's Ex-Wife Kelley Wolf Charged With Violating Protective Order Amid Divorce Battle

Scott Wolf's Ex Kelley Wolf Embroiled in Legal Battles: Protective Order Violation and Rehab Stays

Kelley Wolf, ex-wife of actor Scott Wolf, is facing escalating legal challenges, including a charge of violating a protective order. The charges stem from allegations that she attempted to contact her son, Miller, through a friend. Kelley is also dealing with three misdemeanor charges amidst her ongoing divorce from Scott Wolf.

Protective Order Violation Allegations

Court documents reveal that Kelley Wolf, 48, was charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly violating a protective order issued on August 28. This order prohibits her from having any direct or indirect contact with Scott Wolf, 57, or their three children: Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11. She was also instructed to stay at least 300 feet away from Scott, except during divorce or custody mediation sessions with a "Court Qualified Mediator."

According to a Statement of Probable Cause, Scott accused Kelley of violating the protective order on August 30 by contacting him “using a friend’s phone and attempting to contact her son [Miller] through a friend’s son.” A summons was issued for Kelley to appear in court on November 7.

“I am utterly shocked [for] the unabating aggressive use of a legal system and possibly more," Kelley said in a statement. "[It] has become almost intolerable to my physical body, my family's health and well-being period."

Court Appearances and Legal Representation

Kelley last appeared in court on September 10 without legal representation. The judge, therefore, did not rule on any substantive matters, despite requests from Scott's lawyers for a full restraining order. However, the judge upheld parts of the August 28 protective order preventing Kelley from contacting her children directly or indirectly but allowed phone communication between Kelley and Scott. The next hearing is scheduled for October 23, and the judge has mandated that Kelley secure legal counsel before that date, with Scott responsible for a portion of her attorney fees.

Misdemeanor Charges and Arrest Details

In addition to the protective order violation, Kelley is facing three misdemeanor charges: electronic communications harassment and two charges of misdemeanor electronic disclosure of personal identifying information. She was arrested on August 26 on suspicion of these charges following social media posts that allegedly doxxed her friends and family members, including Scott's personal phone number.

Rehab Stays and Conditions of Release

Following her arrest, Kelley spent two nights in Summit County Jail before being released on August 28 after posting a $5,000 bond. As a condition of her release, she was ordered to abstain from alcohol and drugs and participate in inpatient or outpatient medical, behavioral, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. She initially entered rehab on September 7 but exited one day later. Kelley later told Page Six that she plans to attend a different treatment center in Utah in November, claiming she needs help with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) not addiction.

Divorce Proceedings and Restraining Orders

Scott Wolf filed for divorce from Kelley on June 9 after 21 years of marriage. Since then, the couple has been involved in a contentious separation, marked by restraining orders and allegations of misconduct. Scott initially filed for a protective order on August 26 after Kelley's arrest for leaking his phone number on social media. He discovered Kelley had posted his cell phone number on an Instagram story.

Kelley's Perspective

Kelley has stated she claims she has been held on two involuntary holds by officials in the past couple of months and also spoke out on Instagram, writing "There’s only one thing I want right now: Peace."
