Free Admission for Kids at the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum This September
The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is offering a fantastic opportunity for kids to experience historical transportation firsthand. Throughout September, children up to age 17 can enjoy free admission to the museum, providing an engaging and educational experience for the whole family.
Explore Trolley History and Fun Exhibits
Visitors can take memorable trolley rides and explore various exhibits showcasing the evolution of trolley technology. One of the most popular attractions is the "Terrible Trolley," a restored piece of history that has quickly become a museum favorite. The museum is offering this promotion through September 30.
The Story of the "Terrible Trolley"
Kevin Zebley, director of facilities, safety, and operations for the museum, shared the story of the "Terrible Trolley": "We were lucky enough to find the original car in a barn in Ohio. Brought it to the trolley museum, where we had volunteers and paid staff put many hours of work into it, and it’s been a fan-favorite ever since it rolled out about a month ago.” This highlights the dedication and effort that goes into preserving and showcasing these historical artifacts.
