Hendrix added, "A lot of people talk about it. A lot of people want it. We’re totally game. I think we’re just waiting." The actresses highlighted the significant fan interest and the cast's enthusiasm for a potential continuation of the beloved 1998 film.

Following Jamie Lee Curtis's initiative in getting Freakier Friday made by directly contacting Disney, the actresses were asked if Lohan had taken similar action regarding The Parent Trap. Walter responded, "I think Lindsay may have already done that," before Hendrix playfully interjected, "But we can neither confirm nor deny."
