Residents can expect mostly sunny skies throughout the week, with temperatures continuing to climb. While some patchy fog is possible Wednesday morning, particularly north of Metro Detroit near Bay City and Port Huron, the overall weather pattern remains dry. Lawns and gardens are feeling the impact of the lack of rain, as monthly rainfall totals are significantly below average.
Weekend Outlook: Slight Chance of Rain
The weekend forecast indicates a continuation of the mostly dry conditions. A weak cold front moving through Thursday evening has a very low chance of bringing rain. The best opportunity for rain is Sunday evening into Monday. Despite fall being less than a week away, long-range forecasts suggest that above-average temperatures will persist through the end of September.
