Meagan Good Shares Why She Stood By Jonathan Majors During Assault Case, Wedding Photos Revealed
Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors have opened up about their relationship and recent wedding, revealing never-before-seen photos. The couple addressed the challenges they faced, particularly the public scrutiny surrounding Majors' assault case, during an appearance on the "Tamron Hall Show."
Standing by Majors During the Trial
Meagan Good explained her decision to stand by Jonathan Majors during his assault case, which stemmed from an incident in March 2023 involving his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. Despite the controversy, Good emphasized the importance of healing, therapy, and open communication in their relationship. The trial ultimately brought them closer together. Majors was later found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment and sentenced to probation and a domestic violence intervention program.
“We actively choose to spend this time healing, we actively choose to go to therapy, we actively choose to confide in each other and have real conversations that, regardless if we end up together or not, will be life-changing conversations," Good told host Tamron Hall. "Ultimately in that became love."
Majors acknowledged the challenges he faced and credited Good with helping him understand his need for connection. He also admitted, "There is a need to have support and help, and you have to help and support yourself – your full self, not just your mind, not just your body, not just your heart,"
Wedding Details and Support from Family
The couple shared photos from their wedding day during their appearance on the Tamron Hall Show. Majors' mom, Terri Anderson-Watson, who officiated the wedding, also shared her perspective and support for the couple. Anderson-Watson, a pastor and licensed therapist, said she "knew that they were ready from the moment I met Megan," recalling how Good supported Majors during his assault trial.
Good wore a cream lace gown with spaghetti straps and a short netted white veil, while Majors wore a white buttoned shirt over cream pants. Anderson-Watson revealed that she ensured they had counseling before their marriage and discussed their commitment, faith, and plans for the future.
Relationship Timeline and Recent Celebrations
Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors began dating in May 2023 and got engaged in November 2024. A source confirmed their marriage in March 2025. Previously, Good was married to DeVon Franklin for nine years before their split in December 2021. In August, Good shared an Instagram post celebrating her birthday with Majors and her extended family on a trip to Cartagena, Colombia.
