Whitney Rose Reveals Business Failure and Marital Status on RHOSLC
Whitney Rose, star of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC), has opened up about the struggles she faced with her business venture and provided an update on her marriage to Justin Rose. The revelations came during the Season 6 premiere of the show, which aired on Bravo on September 16th.
Whitney Rose Comes Clean About Her "Failed" Business Venture
During the RHOSLC Season 6 premiere, Whitney Rose addressed the rumors surrounding her business, admitting it had failed. She explained that her husband, Justin, was "all in" on the venture, but ultimately, "now we have nothing." The conversation arose during an argument with Britani Bateman during an RV trip to Provo, Utah.
Whitney clarified that there were no "pending lawsuits" or "legal turmoil," but she had to "fire 30 employees." She described the experience as emotionally challenging, feeling she had failed not only herself but also her employees, customers, and family. She admitted to losing "millions" and disappointing "thousands" of customers.
Prior to its failure, Whitney Rose's primary business goal was to achieve even "bigger success" with her jewelry line PRISM. She is also the founder and owner of Wild Rose Beauty, a direct-to-consumer skincare brand, formerly known as Iris + Beau.

Heather emphasized that failures are often overlooked, while Bronwyn pointed out that losses provide valuable learning opportunities. Angie commended Whitney's courage and vulnerability in sharing her struggles.
"I have to say, too, like, it takes a lot of courage to be an entrepreneur or to take a risk or to start your own business. And thanks for being vulnerable and real, because I think any of us that are in business or have had our own business know how hard it is." - Angie Katsanevas
Marriage Update Ahead of Season 6
Ahead of the season premiere, Whitney Rose spoke about her marriage to Justin, stating that they are "good" and "working through it." Despite the challenges posed by the failed business, she confirmed they are "still married." She expressed hope that certain "authentic" moments, despite being cathartic for her to film, would not make the final cut of the show due to being difficult to relive.
Regarding the impact of the business dealings on her marriage, Whitney told USA Today, "We tried to do a venture together, and unfortunately, it failed. Like in any business, you have ups and downs, and I share what’s really going on in my life. It’s hard, but I share it all, and it’s actually, from what I’ve seen so far, it’s beautiful to watch.” She also previously admitted to pouring over $300,000 into her beauty company, and ultimately losing their life savings.
