Dr. Haynes III has served as the senior pastor of Friendship-West Baptist Church for over 40 years. Beyond his pastoral role, Dr. Haynes is also involved in various organizations, including serving on the board of the Conference of National Black Churches and the National Action Network. He briefly led the Rainbow Push Coalition in 2023.
