Penny Lancaster, Rod Stewart's Wife, Donated Breast Milk to Grandchild
Penny Lancaster, the wife of legendary singer Rod Stewart, revealed that she helped her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Stewart, back in 2011 when she struggled to produce enough breast milk for her newborn daughter, Delilah. The revelation was made during an episode of the podcast "Postcards from Midlife."
Lancaster's Act of Support
Lancaster, a British model, had given birth to her second son with Rod Stewart just six months prior. Driven by a desire to help, she decided to pump her breast milk for her grandchild. "Just to be clear, I wasn't breastfeeding my grandchild. I pumped milk, which she then gave in a bottle," she explained.
Lancaster stated that she didn't hesitate for a moment. "I remember thinking: what is most important for our grandchild? I knew that my milk would give her the necessary nutrients and antibodies," she said.
