Johnson & Johnson Withdraws LINC Reflux System from International Markets; Guggenheim Boosts Price Target

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) to Withdraw Reflux Management System from International Markets

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) has announced plans to withdraw its LINC Reflux Management System from markets outside the U.S. by the end of March 2026. This decision, driven by commercial reasons, impacts the availability of the device used to treat chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease internationally.

LINC Reflux Management System Withdrawal

The LINC Reflux Management System is a device designed to treat chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease by placing a flexible ring of magnets around the muscles at the base of the esophagus to prevent acid reflux. While Johnson & Johnson will discontinue its availability in international markets, the system will remain available for use in the United States.

Guggenheim Raises Price Target for JNJ

Despite the withdrawal of the LINC system, Guggenheim raised its price target on Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) from $167 to $206. This positive outlook is attributed to the company's strong top-line growth in 2025, even with the loss of exclusivity for Stelara. The investment firm also anticipates substantial revenue from recently launched bladder cancer drugs, Inlexzo (TAR-200) and TAR-210, projecting peak sales exceeding $6 billion.
