Issa Tchiroma Bakary Campaigns in Mayo-Danay as Presidential Election Nears

Issa Tchiroma Bakary, the candidate for the Front for the National Salvation of Cameroon (FSNC), campaigned in Yagoua, in the department of Mayo-Danay, last Monday, seeking to connect with voters ahead of the upcoming presidential election on October 12th. He presented himself as the "representative of the people" during his visit.

Campaign Stop in Yagoua

Bakary arrived in Yagoua, the capital of Mayo-Danay, on the night of Monday, September 29, 2025. His campaign stop included a motorcade through the streets of Yagoua, designed to demonstrate the strength of his support base. The motorcade culminated in a rally at the Mamina neighborhood, attracting thousands of supporters.

Message to the Electors

Addressing the voters, Issa Tchiroma Bakary emphasized his commitment to representing their interests. Bakary was accompanied by Professor Jean Calvin Aba’a Oyono during this important campaign event. He stated, "In front of you, you do not have Issa Tchiroma Bakary as you know him. No! You have the representative of the people."

Prior to the rally in Yagoua, Bakary engaged in a meet-and-greet with supporters along National Road 12, passing through Kalfou and Kaélé in Mayo-Kani. The campaign activities suggest a strong effort to engage with voters across the region. The candidate of the Front national pour le salut du Cameroun (Fnsc) aims to outline his societal project and ambitions for Cameroon.
