Malta House of Care, in partnership with the Cigna Group Foundation, is bringing its mobile clinic to uninsured East Hartford residents with a new clinical site.
The mobile clinic, which already serves communities across Greater Hartford, will now expand its services to include a new stop at St. Mary’s Church Community Center in East Hartford twice a month. The expansion is supported by a two-year grant from the Cigna Group Foundation’s Health Equity Impact Fund.

“People shouldn’t have to choose between health care and other basic necessities, which is why The Cigna Group Foundation is honored to support Malta House of Care in its mission to bring health care directly to those who need it most,” said Ellie Polack, president of The Cigna Group Foundation, in a news release. “Our Health Equity Impact Fund was created to reduce barriers to care and improve outcomes for underserved communities, and this site is a perfect example of that in action, right here in Connecticut.”
Founded in 2004, Malta House of Care provides free primary care to uninsured adults in Greater Hartford through its physical clinic and mobile units.
