Relief from the summer heat is expected by midweek, with highs cooling down to the mid-70s by next weekend. Humidity will gradually decrease as the storms move out.
Severe Weather Risk Assessment
The severe weather risk remains relatively low, but a strong storm or two is possible, especially west of the Omaha metro area.
