Tragic Accident in Guelph: Mother Dies After Being Struck by Pickup Truck
A 38-year-old mother has died following a tragic accident in Guelph, Ontario. On Friday afternoon, she and her family were struck by a pickup truck while walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of Paisley Road and Alma Street North. The Guelph Police are investigating the incident.

Emergency crews responded to the scene just after 5 p.m. A man and a woman were walking with their three-year-old daughter in a stroller when they were struck by a truck within the crosswalk. All three were immediately transported to a local hospital. The seriousness of this accident is reflected by the subsequent response of emergency services.
Family's Condition
Tragically, the 38-year-old mother succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Her 38-year-old husband was treated for minor injuries and later released. Their three-year-old daughter was airlifted to a trauma center in Hamilton as a precaution but was fortunately released from the hospital the same night. Driver and Investigation
The driver of the pickup truck, a 19-year-old man from northern Ontario, remained at the scene and was not injured.
