Michigan State football's most dynamic player may have picked up an injury on Saturday, Sept. 13, against Youngstown State at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing.
Star sophomore wide receiver Nick Marsh was seen on the sideline without his helmet and a wrap around his knee during the second quarter. The Spartans got the ball to start the second half and Marsh was not on the field or visible on the sideline. He did not return to the game.
MSU coach Jonathan Smith said during his halftime interview that Marsh is "working through some things," but didn't add anything else about his status.
Marsh dominated with six catches for 94 yards before leaving.

At this time, the severity of the injury is not clear, but with a huge game against USC on the road next week, the Spartans will certainly err on the side of caution.
The Spartans are 2-0 thanks in large part to a massive showing from Marsh in Week 2, when he had five catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns, both of which were highlight plays.
