Tour Details and Dates
The tour kicks off in Paris, France on January 12th and will travel through the U.K. and Netherlands before heading to North America. Mariah will perform in cities like Manchester, Birmingham, and London, before reaching stateside venues in Miami Beach, New York, and Los Angeles, ending with a hometown show in Atlanta at the Coca-Cola Roxy on April 10th.
Presales begin on Tuesday, September 16th at 10 am local time, with the general sale commencing on Friday, September 19th.
Album Success and Critical Acclaim
Hearts Sold Separately debuted at Number One on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and Number 11 on the Billboard 200, marking her highest debut on either chart. The album also spawned three hit singles on the Billboard Hot 100: "Burning Blue," "Is It a Crime?" (featuring Kali Uchis), and "Sacrifice."
Her explosive year began with “Burning Blue” topping the Apple Music chart and earning a Top 25 placement on the Billboard Hot 100. The song’s provocative music video further stirred the conversation around Mariah’s return, and views have soared past 25 million.
'Hearts Sold Separately' Album Review
Hearts Sold Separately marks a significant turnaround after Mariah’s previous full-length album. The new album allows Mariah to push herself as a vocalist, without taking her off course. The album's chilly production envisions a frozen landscape, with Mariah's voice radiating warmth from its center.
The return of collaborator Nineteen85, who is also one-half of R&B duo dvsn and a frequent beatmaker for Drake, as executive producer, elevates the album. Mariah told Rolling Stone that this collaboration “helped me realize what it could be like to think outside of a box and explore more texture.”
