Jeremy Cameron Played AFL Grand Final with Broken Arm
Jeremy Cameron, key forward for Geelong, remarkably played out the entire AFL Grand Final against Brisbane with a broken arm. The injury occurred in a heavy collision with teammate Patrick Dangerfield shortly before half-time, during which Geelong suffered a 47-point loss.
The Moment of Impact
According to Dangerfield, he heard a “pretty big snap” when Cameron's right arm became wedged between their bodies. Medical staff confirmed after the game that Cameron had sustained a fracture.

Playing Through the Pain
Despite visibly grimacing in pain, the dual Coleman medallist returned to start the second half wearing a protective arm guard. He then aggravated the injury making an inspirational chase-down tackle on Brisbane player Jaspa Fletcher. This play set up a goal for Max Holmes and briefly gave the Cats the lead.
One-Handed Effort
Following the tackle, Cameron spent more time off the field receiving treatment but bravely returned to the game, effectively playing virtually one-handed for the remainder of the Grand Final. His dedication and resilience were evident despite the severity of the injury and the team's ultimate defeat against Brisbane.
