However, representatives quickly clarified that the 94-year-old actor was dealing with blood sugar issues and was not hospitalized. Now, Shatner himself has addressed the situation, reassuring his fans that he is doing well.

On Thursday morning, William Shatner took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the rumors. In his post, he explained that he "over indulged" but assured his followers that he is "perfectly fine." He also cautioned against trusting tabloids and AI-generated information. His message included a meme featuring himself as Mark Twain in a 2015 episode of Murdoch Mysteries, with the message "rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!"

Earlier reports, fueled by a TMZ article, indicated that Shatner was hospitalized due to a blood sugar issue. Shatner's Busy Schedule
Despite the health scare rumors, William Shatner remains active and engaged. A representative for Shatner told TrekMovie, "He doesn’t have time to be sick!" He is scheduled to appear at the FanX convention in Salt Lake City, UT, this weekend. Additionally, he plans to attend GalaxyCon in St Louis, MO, in two weeks and Creation’s Trek Tour Chicago in November. His "Wrath of Khan" tour also has several stops scheduled for November.

In addition to his convention appearances, Shatner has been busy with various projects. He recently headlined Creation’s STNJ earlier this month, following appearances at events such as Fan Expo Denver, STLV: Trek To Vegas, and Dragon Con. He is also set to embark on the Space 2 Sea Galapagos cruise with astronauts and scientists on November 1st.
