The mother of the child reportedly found the bodies upon returning home from work around 8 pm. Emergency services were immediately called to the scene, but unfortunately, both individuals were pronounced dead. Gardaí are treating the incident as a suspected murder-suicide and are not currently seeking any other individuals in connection with the deaths. There were no signs of forced entry to the property.
