Channing Tatum Says Walking the Red Carpet with Daughter Everly, 12, Is ‘Honestly a Dream Come True’

Channing Tatum just had “a dream come true.”
The Roofman star, 45, and his 12-year-old daughter Everly walked the red carpet together at the Sept. 9 premiere of anime movie Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle in Los Angeles, alongside his girlfriend Inka Williams, 26.
In an Instagram post shared days later on Sept. 13, Channing said their father-daughter red carpet appearance was made even more special because of their bond over anime.
“Walking the #DemonSlayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle carpet with Evie by my side was honestly a dream come true," Tatum wrote in the caption. The photos showed himself in a blue suit and white shirt, while Everly — whom Tatum shares with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan — rocked a blue satin dress featuring lots of ruffles.

"She's been my anime inspiration from the start, and sharing this moment with her made my first time voicing Keizo extra special," the proud dad wrote. "Having a project we both love in theaters now just feels unreal-heart is full and fanboy levels are off the charts!"

At the premiere Demon Slayer, Tatum told PEOPLE that he scored some “cool dad points” for voicing Keizo.
“Stories are important. They’re very, very, very important, and this one, specifically for me and my daughter, is very important,” he said of the movie, which is based on the popular Japanese manga series of the same name.

A spokesperson for the movie told Variety in August that Tatum “discovered his love” for the animated franchise while watching the series with Everly.
Although Tatum has been candid about his love for his daughter, Everly has remained out of the public eye for much of her childhood, other than some appearances with her parents.

Iin March, the father-daughter duo had a music-filled night out together when the two were spotted at the Kelsea Ballerini concert at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles. Tatum and his daughter were also reportedly with the actor's model girlfriend.
Tatum and Williams were first romantically linked in February when they stepped out at a pre-Oscars party.

Another source told PEOPLE just this week that the actor didn't initially introduce his daughter to Williams — noting that he's a "very protective" father.
"Channing's also very protective of Everly," the source said. "Inka didn't meet her for a while. But they get along great now."
Tatum and Everly were also previously spotted in 2023 at an L.A. stop of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour by CBS host Gayle King. The Blink Twice star was filmed by the television personality dancing to hits including "Shake It Off" and "Anti-Hero" at the concert as Everly stood in front of him — all while he rocked a handmade shirt that read, “It’s me, hi, I’m the daddy, it’s me,” on the front.
