Stephanie Arcila Exits 'Fire Country' as Series Regular for Season 4 Premiere

Stephanie Arcila's Exit as Gabriela Perez in 'Fire Country' Season 4: What to Expect

Fire Country fans, prepare for a significant change as Stephanie Arcila, who plays Gabriela Perez, will be exiting the series in the Season 4 premiere, titled "Goodbye for Now." Arcila will appear in the premiere episode airing on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET on CBS, but will not be returning as a series regular thereafter.

A Fond Farewell and "Bodiela" Moments

Executive producer Tia Napolitano assures fans that Gabriela's departure will be a heartfelt sendoff. "We’re so happy to have Stephanie back, to have Gabriela back in the premiere, and we really wrote a love letter to the character," she tells TV Insider. Fans can expect to see glimpses of "Bodiela" – the relationship between Bode (Max Thieriot) and Gabriela – in the premiere.

Napolitano teases that Gabriela will play a crucial supporting role for Bode in the premiere. “She’ll become very significant to him, as she always has been, in support in his life in the premiere so that he wonders when she leaves how he’s going to be without her,” she says. This will create a void in Bode's life and potentially make viewers yearn for Gabriela's return.

Manny's Guidance and the Future of Station 42

Gabriela's absence will also impact her father, Manny (Kevin Alejandro). With less opportunity to impart his wisdom to his daughter, Manny will extend his parental influence to other members of Station 42, including Jake (Jordan Calloway) and Eve (Jules Latimer). Manny will offer guidance to Bode as well.

While Arcila's departure marks a significant change, Napolitano leaves the door open for a potential return in the future, stating, "Never say never."

Season 4 Premiere: High Stakes Rescue and Team Loyalty

The Season 4 premiere will immediately address the cliffhanger from the Season 3 finale, where a burning building collapsed with Vince (Billy Burke), Sharon (Diane Farr), and Walter (Jeff Fahey) inside. Station 42 will be challenged in a "high-stakes rescue that tests their strength, loyalty and the future of the firehouse" according to CBS.

Here's a recap of key details for the Season 4 premiere:

  • Title: Goodbye for Now
  • Air Date: Friday, October 17, 2025
  • Time: 9 p.m. ET
  • Network: CBS
