GP Explorer 3: Karchez Wins Sprint Race, Biaggi and Squeezie Complete Podium at Le Mans

GP Explorer 3: Karchez Wins Sprint Race, Biaggi Impresses

The GP Explorer 3, organized by content creator Squeezie, kicked off its second day at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans on October 4, 2025. The day featured a sprint race, practice sessions, and qualifying rounds, all leading up to the main race on Sunday. Spaniard Karchez emerged victorious in the sprint race, with Maxime Biaggi and Squeezie rounding out the podium.

Saturday's Highlights: Weather and Schedule Adjustments

The day began with challenging weather conditions, forcing organizers to adjust the schedule. Despite the rain and wind, approximately 200,000 spectators were expected to attend the three-day event. The day included practice sessions, qualifying for the sprint race, and the race itself. A "Race of Legends" featuring past GP Explorer winners was also announced.

  • Free practice sessions: Delayed and divided into two groups, with Karchez and Squeezie setting the fastest times in their respective groups.
  • Qualifying sessions: Karchez secured pole position for the sprint race, setting a new lap record.
  • Sprint Race: Karchez won, followed by Maxime Biaggi and Squeezie.

Sprint Race Results and Key Moments

The sprint race was eventful, featuring a safety car period, spins, and crashes. Karchez ultimately took the win, but Maxime Biaggi's impressive recovery from a P5 starting position to second place was a highlight. Squeezie battled hard to maintain his podium finish. Ana had a strong showing but spun out in the final laps, allowing Houdi to take fourth. Several drivers, including Billy, Amine, and Baghera, experienced spins due to the slippery conditions. The Lego Racing Team, with Biaggi and Djilsi, positioned themselves strongly for the constructors' championship.

"Race of Legends" and Sunday's Program

A surprise "Race of Legends" featured Sylvain Lyve (GP Explorer 1 winner), LeBouseuh, Depielo (GP Explorer 2 winner), and Étienne Moustache driving Ligier JS P4 cars. Depielo secured pole position for Sunday's race. Sunday's program included further practice, qualifying, and the main race, followed by a podium ceremony and track invasion. Several concerts were scheduled for Saturday evening, featuring artists like Nene Kiffeur, Theodora, Gazo, Tiakola, and Myd.
