After a week of bear-y tough competition and over 1.5 million fan votes, the 2025 Fat Bear Week champion has been crowned.
But which bear was deemed fattest of them all?
The final heavyweight showdown came down to two Brooks River legends — 32 Chunk and Bear 856.
And The Winner Is…
32 Chunk has officially run away with the 2025 title.
Snout scar, broken jaw and all — this chunky bear proved that even with some setbacks, you can make the ultimate comeback.

After a fierce battle earlier this year, 32 Chunk had to learn how to adapt to fishing with his injuries.
But this bear is proof that creativity can mean just as much as brute strength when it comes to preparing for hibernation.
32 Chunk dethroned the reigning champ, 128 Grazer, who has held the title for the last two years.
This is an especially victorious win for 32 Chunk after narrowly placing in second for the last three years.
Weighing in at an approximate 1,200 pounds, this bear is quite deserving of the 2025 crown as he heads into hibernation.
