Two Drivers and Three Children Seriously Injured in Wellesley Township Crash

A serious two-vehicle collision in Wellesley Township on Friday afternoon resulted in serious injuries for two drivers and three children. The crash occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. on Ament Line, near Lavery Road, involving a Dodge van and a Chrysler sedan.

Details of the Collision

The 62-year-old man from Woolwich, who was driving the van, and the 79-year-old woman from Perth County, driving the sedan, both sustained severe injuries. Both were transported to out-of-region hospitals for treatment.

Three children, aged 10, 12, and 14, who were passengers in the sedan, also suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital for medical attention.

Police Investigation Underway

The Waterloo Regional Police’s Traffic Services Unit is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or possesses dashcam footage from the area to come forward and assist with the investigation.
