Three Stark County area Catholic schools have new principals.
Andrew Richards has been named the principal of St. Paul School in North Canton.
Kevin Irvine has taken over at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Louisville.
And former Sandy Valley Local Schools Superintendent David Fischer is the new principal of St. Paul School in Salem.
Richards has spent the past decade in Catholic and public-school administration and education, including the past six years as principal at St. Columbkille School in Parma. Prior to that, he was an assistant principal at Sts. Peter and Paul School in Doylestown.

Richards has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Kent State University and amaster’s degree in sports administration from the University of Cincinnati.
Irvine had previously worked at Aquinas, serving as a basketball coach. He is a graduate of New Mexico State University where he earned bachelor's degree and master's degrees in education.He has taught in New Mexico, Colorado, California and Hudson.
He began working in the diocese in August.
Fischer has spent the past 30 years in education, including roles as a teacher, principal,and as a superintendent for 12 years.
The Ashland and Akron University graduate also spent time as a history teacher atGlenOak High School in Plain Township, as well as principal at East Canton Junior and Senior high school.
He started in the Diocese on Oct. 6.
