Dolly Parton Postpones Las Vegas Residency Due to Health Concerns
Dolly Parton, the beloved country music icon, has announced the postponement of her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The decision, made due to health challenges, has saddened fans who were eagerly awaiting her performances scheduled for December 2025. The shows have been rescheduled to September 2026.
The Announcement and Reason for Postponement
In a statement shared on her social media channels, the 79-year-old singer explained that she needs to undergo a few medical procedures. "As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures," Parton wrote. This development prevents her from rehearsing and delivering the high-quality show her fans deserve.
Parton humorously referenced her condition, stating, "As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up – although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!" Despite the setback, she reassured fans that she is not retiring and intends to continue working on projects from her home in Nashville.
"I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts... You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you." - Dolly Parton
