New Food Options Debut at U.S. Bank Stadium for Vikings Fans
The Minnesota Vikings are kicking off their home season, and fans attending games at U.S. Bank Stadium can look forward to a wide variety of new food and beverage options. This year's lineup includes both returning favorites and exciting new vendors, promising a diverse culinary experience.
New Culinary Delights
U.S. Bank Stadium provided a preview of the new offerings, which include some unique and innovative choices. These new food choices provide many different options for the Vikings fan!
- Roon’s Savory Cones: Waffle cones filled with pork, mac and cheese, or chicken curry salad offer a convenient and flavorful snack.
- Beef Bulgogi Nachos and Spam Egg Sandwich: These Asian-inspired creations come from EggFlip, offering a fusion of flavors.
- Dill Pickle Cheese Curds: Curds and Cakes brings a Minnesota twist to a classic stadium treat.
- Purple Raspberry Smoothie: Refreshing and vibrant, this smoothie from Maui Wowi is perfect for a sweet treat.
Local Vendors Make Their Mark
In addition to the new featured items, several local vendors are bringing their specialties to the stadium. Tender Lovin' Chix is one of 22 local vendors, serving up crispy chicken tenders and fried rice. For seafood lovers, Lord Fletcher's offers deep-fried walleye, a Minnesota staple. The Rabbit Hole is also back with fan favorites.
"We have our giant pretzel and it comes with a beer cheese dipping sauce," said Joe Berg, a co-owner of The Rabbit Hole. "We also have our 10-inch long 'big stick' is what we call it. It's a mozzarella stick, you'll get an awesome cheese pull with that."
Sweet Treats and More
Hippo Pockets is debuting their first season, serving up a stuffed tortilla hot off the grill with seasoned ground beef, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheese! For a sweet treat that isn't too sinful, try a Rice Krispies treat made with Cinnamon Toast Crunch!
For those with a serious sweet tooth, Karla's Sweet Treats returns with a new souvenir bucket for churros-flavored mini donuts, and T-Rex Cookie offers several different kinds of "giant" cookies.
