Amanda Lemos and Tatiana Suarez Set for Highly Anticipated Rematch at Noche UFC Prelims

Amanda Lemos and Tatiana Suarez Set to Clash at Noche UFC

Amanda Lemos is set to face Tatiana Suarez at Noche UFC in San Antonio, in a pivotal matchup for the UFC's women's strawweight division. The fight promises significant implications for both fighters as they aim to climb the ranks.

Lemos Ready for Rescheduled Bout

Lemos stated she anticipated this fight, referencing the original booking at UFC 298. ā€œI was expecting it, this fight had been scheduled before,ā€ said Lemos.

Despite the initial cancellation due to Suarez's injury, Lemos remains confident. "She got injured and the fight was canceled. Now we are getting another chance to fight. We'll put on a show and deliver a great fight. I’m super ready for Tatiana. It's a tough fight for both of us. But I'm sure I'm gonna win.ā€

Suarez Unfazed by Prelim Placement

While some fans have questioned Tatiana Suarez's placement on the Noche UFC prelims, she remains unconcerned. Suarez (10-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) will face Amanda Lemos (15-4-1 MMA, 9-4 UFC) on the prelims at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas.

"I don't really mind where I am on the card," Suarez told MMA Junkie Radio. "I can be the first fight of the card, it doesn't really matter to me. I just like to fight."

Suarez is focused on performing, regardless of her position on the fight card. "I show up regardless of what time it is. I'm going to show up there, and I'm going to go do my thing, and I'm going to get to do what I love to do so, I don't really care where it is on the card."

Suarez Aims to Rebound and Respects Lemos

Suarez is looking to bounce back from her recent title loss to Zhang Weili at UFC 312 in February. While she is considered a significant favorite against Lemos, she is not underestimating her opponent.

"I think I'm going to go in there, I'm going to manage my distance, and really go out there and try to win every single exchange, just fight smart," Suarez said. "I think she's a great opponent. I think she's well rounded everywhere, and I just look forward to implementing my game plan and doing what I've set out to do. I think it'll be a great fight, and I look forward to it."
